2024 Registration Fees
Sharks registration fees for 2024 are as follows:
Swimmers age 14 and under (as of May 1, 2024):
1st Swimmer - $225
2nd Swimmer - $200
3rd Swimmer - $175
4th+ Swimmer - FREE
General registration ends on April 15 or whenever all spots are filled. After general registration ends, we may accept late registrations at our discretion, with a $25/swimmer late fee.
Swimmers age 15 and up (as of May 1, 2024): $25
Facility Fee for non-BCC members - $50/swimmer
The cost of the team swimsuit and other equipment (e.g., goggles and fins) is NOT included in the registration fees. These items must be purchased separately.
Swim team registration fees are determined each swim season. For non-BCC club members there is an additional Facility Fee charged by Balcones Country Club. These registration fees are the team’s primary source of financial support.
Registration fees cover the following:
- Coaches’ salaries
- AAU swim insurance
- Pre-season swim evaluations
- Ribbons, trophies, medals, and other awards
- Miscellaneous administrative expenses
- Divisional swim meet entry fee
- Sharks 2024 team t-shirt for swimmers registered by March 31
- Sharks team swim cap
Refund Policy
Due to pre-season administrative costs incurred by the team such as swimmer insurance, BCC facility fees, evaluation fees, etc. We do not offer a full refund on any registrations.
The refund schedule is as follows:
Cancellation prior to the first day of practice: Full refund less $25 administrative fee per swimmer.
Cancellation on the first day of practice through the final day of the second week of practice: $75 refund per swimmer.
Cancellation after the final day of the second week of practice: NO refund.
It is strongly advised that if you feel your swimmer may not meet the swimming proficiency requirement that you wait to register them for the team until after they have successfully completed the swimming evaluation. We will not offer full refunds for cancelled registrations (see above).
