Annie Parodi Head Coach

Annie Parodi grew up swimming in Warwick Valley New York. She competed through age group & high school swimming. At Mount Saint Mary College, Annie was not only the MVP and Team Captain, but she broke nine team swimming records. Since graduating with a degree in Biology from SUNY – Buffalo, she has been swim coaching and a personal trainer. Annie is currently coaching at Waterloo Swimming where she is the Head Group Coach of Silver 2. Prior to that she coached at Cedar Park Swimming where she was the Head Coach of the Silver and Bronze groups and assisted with the Gold and Senior groups. Before moving to Texas, she worked for the Cheektowaga Stingrays where she was the Head Age Group Coach for the 12 & Under program in charge of program development/growth, on deck coaching and swimmer development. During her tenure there, the Stingrays expanded Age Group and learn to swim programs. They have also advanced more swimmers than ever before to LSC championships and Zone meets.

Favorite Stroke:  to swim...breaststroke, but she loves them ALL!!!!!

Marley Kotick Assistant Coach

My name is Marley Kotick and this will be my third season coaching for the Sharks! I will be a junior at the University of Texas pursing a degree in Elementary Education. I started my swimming career with the sharks and have stayed since I was 8. I swam for Westwood in high school and qualified and swam at Regionals. Along with high school, I swam club at Waterloo and was coached by Mike Varozza. I have always had a passion for swimming and teaching kids and started my instructing career at Waterloo 6 years ago. I haven't left the pool side since and am looking forward to another great sharks season full of swimming and fun! Go sharks!

Garrett Mott Assistant Coach

My name is Garrett Mott and this is my third year to be a Sharks swim coach. I am a junior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Physics with a UTeach minor. I hope to become a high school physics teacher when I graduate. I swam on the Westwood Varsity Swim Team for 4 years and was captain my senior year. I was a regional qualifier for 2 years in the 200 freestyle and the 200 freestyle relay. I also played for the Westwood Water Polo Team for 2 years. Additionally, I swam with Nitro for 8 years. I've spent every summer since I was 7 swimming with the Sharks and I am very excited to be back as a coach. I want to make sure that these younger swimmers have as great of Shark memories as I do!

Madison Mischnick Assistant Coach

My name is Madison Mischnick, in May I graduated from the the University of Texas with a degree in Elementary Education. I’m proud to say I started swimming for the sharks when I was seven years old and continued my swimming career through high school. I swam on the Westwood High School Varsity swim team where I represented the Warriors at state in the 200 medley relay, 100 Breaststroke and 200 IM. I was also a member of the National Team at Nitro swimming. I am so excited to be back with the sharks for my fourth season as a coach and am looking forward to a fantastic summer! Go sharks!

Jacob Stubbs Assistant Coach

My name is Jacob Stubbs and I am excited for my first year as a Sharks coach. I got my swimming start with the BCC Sharks and am thrilled to be in a position to give back to where I got my start. I will graduate from Westwood High School in May, where I was a four-year letterman and regional qualifier in the 500 Freestyle, 200 IM, 200 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke and was a team captain my senior year. I currently swim for Waterloo Swimming and will be attending Trinity University in San Antonio beginning in the fall where I will continue my swimming career and I plan to double major in International Business and Business Analytics. My goal this summer with the Sharks is to help these young swimmers find the love for swimming that I have and to help them create great Sharks memories.

Sofia Martinez Assistant Coach

My name is Sofia Martinez and I am super excited for my first year as a Sharks coach! I began swimming with the Anderson Mill Barracudas and am happy to be able to come full circle and coach summer league swimming. In May I will graduate from Westwood High School where I competed for the swim team for all four years. I was honored to be captain for both my junior and senior year. I was also a swimmer for the Waterloo club team. I have taught swim lessons for 3 years now at Tom's Dive and Swim and absolutely adore working with kids of all ages. I love the water, you may catch me at the pool swimming laps, in the ocean scuba diving, or at the lake tubing. Next year I plan on attending Harvard College in Boston, with the intent of majoring in engineering. I cannot wait for a fun-filled summer of practices and competitions, I know it will be fantastic! Go Sharks!

Hi my name is Riley Whitford and I am about to graduate from Anderson High School. For college, I will be majoring in history in order to become a high school history teacher but I am not sure where I will be attending school yet. I have been swimming with the Sharks for the past 12 years and did year round swim for 2 years with Cedar Park. I have also been playing school volleyball, club volleyball, sand volleyball for the past 6 years. I have a passion for traveling, photography, calligraphy, and drinking lots of coffee. I am very excited to be coming back to the Sharks as a coach and I can not wait for the upcoming season!
