Practice is offered Monday - Friday, from May 5 - July 11. After school practice groups will be based on age of swimmer as of May 5, 2008. For summer practice, swimmers will be placed into summer practice groups based not only on age, but also by skills observed during the after school practice in May. Holidays are May 26 and July 4.
The coaches have posted the summer practice rosters. Links to the rosters for both Balcones and Spicewood pools were sent in the Shark Bite E-Newsletter on May 27.

Our summer group practices all have Shark names. A description of the type of swimmers
that would likely be found in each practice group is also included. The coaching staff will be responsible
for placing swimmers into the appropriate practice groups for summer, not parents or swimmers.

Whitetip Sharks |
This group will be made up of 9-10 year old females and males who have reached a level of proficiency in competitive swimming. The coaches will be solely responsible for determining the swimmers who will move into this group, along with parents’ approval. |

This group will be made up of male and female swimmers aged 8 & under who are new to competitive swimming or have not learned at least three of the competitive strokes. |
