Summer 2011 swim practice is offered Monday - Friday, from May 2 - July 8. Practices for swimmers age 10 and under are at the Spicewood pool. Practice for swimmers 11 and up are at the Balcones pool. Watch for SHARK ALERT and website announcements when the practice schedule might vary due to pool conflicts, maintenance and other unforeseen circumstances.
After school practice runs from May 2 - May 27. The age of your swimmer is based on his or her age on May 1, 2011. Each age group will have practice daily, which allows flexibility in attendance due to conflicts with other sports, extracurricular activities or school.
Summer practice runs from May 31- July 8. For summer practice, swimmers will be placed into summer practice groups based primarly on age, but the coaching staff will have some discretion placing swimmers based on skill level observed during after school practice in May.
In order to have balanced, well-rounded practices, we do ask you respect the coaching staff's placement of swimmers into their summer age groups. If you have any questions or concerns, please talk with Nurrie.
