Shark Swim Clinics - Scheduling Change
If you signed up for the Shark clinics on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday please take note of the time change. The 8 & Unders are from 5-5:30 pm and the 9 & Ups are 5:30-6 pm. There is no longer a separate time for 13 & Ups. Thanks!
Approaching Deadlines!
Amazing as it might seem, our Shark season is quickly drawing to a close. We have several approaching deadlines that you need to act upon right away.
Divisional Meet Absence - please submit a 'Report A Meet Absence' on the website home page ASAP if your swimmer will not be able to swim at the divisional meet (or you have provisions like leaving early, etc.). Thanks a bunch to the families that have already notified us.
Invitational Sign-up - if you have a swimmer that has invitational times and want to participate in the Invitational meet on Sunday, July 8 you MUST submit an 'Invitational Entries Form' (link on website home page) no later than Monday, July 2 by 8 pm. If your swimmers has 3 or less events they qualify for, sign up for those events. If your swimmer has qualified for more than 3 events, select 3 events and sign up. As explained in previous e-mails, there are provisions in place for new-only invitational swims for swimmers with less than 3 events at the Divisional Meet. The cost per event is $4. Checks are due to the Balcones pool locked Sharks mailbox by 8 pm on Monday as well. Make checks payable to 'BCC Sharks'. We have only heard from about 20% of our qualifiers so far.
End-of-Season Banquet RSVP - please let us know no later than Wednesday, July 4 how many members of your family will attend the banquet on Monday, July 9 (or no one will attend). We are only taking dinner reservations/payments for the optional pizza buffet through Wednesday as well. RSVP form can be found on the website home page. We've only heard from about 25% of our families so far.
Lost and Found Items
After the Anderson Mill meet, there was a large number of left-behind items, including chairs, towels, t-shirts and even cap and goggles wrapped in a Shark t-shirt. These items will be at the Pep Rally on Friday night at 6 pm. Any items not claimed that evening will be donated to charity or thrown away.
NWSC Championship T-Shirts Are Here!
If you ordered a NWSC Championship T-Shirt, your options for t-shirt pick-up are: 1) contact Kathy Armus at sharkshack@bccsharks.org to schedule a pick-up time at her house this week, 2) pick up at the Friday Pep Rally, or 3) pick up at Shark Shack tent at the Divisional meet on Saturday. |
