There have been some reports of swimmer misbehavior in the tents. Prior to this weekend's meet, please take a moment to review the (http://www.nwsc-swimming.org/2003/code_of_conduct.html) with your swimmer(s). Specifically, please ensure your swimmer understands the following behavior will not be tolerated and may result in suspension from the team:
· Hitting, kicking, shoving other swimmers - even in play
· Trash talk, obscene or vulgar language
· Throwing items at other people, including food or personal belongings
The team parents strive to maintain a safe atmosphere for all swimmers in the tent, so please ensure your swimmer listens and treats these volunteers with respect.
If these rules are violated, your swimmer may be asked to leave the tent for the duration of the meet. At the discretion of a coach or board member, the swimmer may also be ejected from the meet. If a swimmer violates the code of conduct on more than one occasion - s/he may be suspended from one or more future meets and may not be allowed to return to the team next season.
Please help us ensure that the tent environment is a safe one for every swimmer.
