Hi my name is Aivia Gimarc and
I am returning for my third year on the coaching staff. The
BCC Sharks Swim Team is my extended family and I am so excited
to be a part of it again! I have my sights set on a Psychology
degree and to continue onto graduate school. I recently completed
my sophomore year at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
I started swimming with the BCC Sharks when I was 6 years
old and continued to swim for the Sharks for 12 consecutive
seasons. I swam year-round for 8 years on USA Swimming club
teams, as well as 4 years on the award-winning Westwood High
School Varsity Swim Team. As a senior in high school, I served
as the girl's team captain. Some of my favorite activities
are swimming (of course), going to the beach, live music shows,
and Scrabble.

Hi my name is Katie Armus Westbrook.
I recently got married in December to a wonderful Marine who
is now attending college at ACC. My husbands name is
Tyler Westbrook and we love living in Austin Texas. I coached
Sharks for three years as an assistant coach and one year
as the assistant head coach. When I was young I was also a
Shark. Sharks was the beginning of
my swimming career. In addition to swimming for the Sharks,
I made the Westwood high school swim team and swam for all
four years for the Lady Warriors. I graduated from the University
of
the Incarnate Word with a Bachelors degree in Elementary
Education. I also swam for the UIW Cardinals, where I made
All Conference in the 200 Fly. I am very excited to be back
coaching the Sharks. The Sharks is a great team and I look
forward to meeting you all. Go Sharks!!

Hello, my name is Keldon Lou and
this is my second year coaching for the Sharks. I recently
finished my freshman year at the University of Texas at Austin
where I am majoring in Actuarial Science & Mathematics.
I swam for the Westwood swim team and was a District and Regional
Finalist in the 100 fly and 50 free. I was an Academic All-American,
Academic All-State, and part of the TISCA All-State Team.
I also swam for six years at Nitro Swimming and was a TAGS
and Sectionals qualifier. I look forward to working with everyone
this season.

My name is Megan Moody and I am
returning for my second season as a Sharks coach. I went to
Westwood High School and swam there all four years, for Texas
Gold for 8 years, and I was a Sharks swimmer for 11 years.
I am very passionate about swimming and hope to inspire all
of the kids to love swimming as much as I did when I was a
little Shark and still do. I attend the University of Texas
at Austin where I plan to double major in biology and psychology
and eventually go on to be a psychiatrist.

Hello, my name is Hallie Spooner! This will
be my first year coaching for the Sharks, however, it is
not my first year being involved with the team. I started
swimming with the BCC Sharks when I was 5 years old, took
a few summers off to travel, and graduated from Sharks last
year. I also swam club for 11 years and have been a member
of the very prestigious Westwood swim team for all four
years where I served as captain my senior year. I am a 2013
Westwood graduate and I will be attending Tulane University
this fall in the pre-med program. I am really looking forward
to coaching the Sharks this summer especially the young
ones recalling all the fun I had as a young swimmer. My
goal this summer is to incorporate my love of swimming,
stroke technique, and fun into practice everyday. I hope
to create a fun and successful learning environment for
all the swimmers. Swimming for the Sharks was always my
favorite part of summer and I hope to share that experience
with the team. Those other teams better get ready to eat
our bubbles! :)

My name is Natalie Parker and
I am a freshman at Kenyon College in Ohio. I was born and
raised in Austin, Texas and have been on a swim team since
I was six years old. I swam for the Sharks for 3 years and
graduated to club swimming when I was nine, where I joined
Texas Gold Swimming and I've been there ever since. I swam
for Westwood from sophomore to senior year and qualified for
State on relays all three years. I am currently a member of
the Kenyon College varsity swim team and will continue my
career in swimming for my remaining three years of college.
I am so excited to be able to coach for the Sharks this summer
and share my passion for swimming!
