Balcones Country Club SharksWelcome to the Web site for the Balcones Country Club Sharks, a youth summer league swim team in northwest Austin, Texas. Our season runs from May through mid-July. The team is open to everyone. Is Practice Cancelled?With the weather being what it is, that is a question we've been hearing a lot lately. Here are some guidelines: If there is thunder and/or lightning practice will definitely be cancelled. However, practice will not be cancelled due to rain alone; we will swim in the rain. We are working on a way to use Twitter to disseminate time-sensitive announcements, such as when practice is cancelled. Look for more information on that soon.
