 Blue and White Meet - Online signup for the Blue and White Meet on May 23 will begin soon. Look for online signup no later than late Wednesday night, May 14. Optional food buffet will be available for purchase. More details to come!
Remaining Open Volunteer Positions - We now have 44 volunteer positions left to fill. This is too many to just grab people at meet. The meets cannot proceed unless we have these positions filled. Please review the list of open positions, select at least one, and contact Denise Raper with your selection.

Balcones Pool After School Practice Further Delayed - The rain earlier in the week has further delayed the completion of the Balcones pool decking. We are anticipating that practice will be delayed until Monday, May 12 to make sure the area is safe and the pool is clean and chemically balanced. This only affects age groups 11 & up. Spicewood practice will proceed as scheduled.
2008 Swim Clinics - There will be two separate optional swim clinics this year!
The clinics run by
the BCC Sharks coaching staff.
Your swimmer will participate in an hour-long swim clinic with other
swimmers in his or her age range. Registration will be available here on the website by May 19. If you want to get a jump start on signing up in the meantime, contact Coach Nurrie. View Flyer

BCC Sharks Swim Team is a non-profit summer swim league located in Northwest Austin, Texas, for youths ages 5 to 17 years old. Time and stroke improvements are stressed and swimmers are recognized for achieving these as well as for placing in the events.
To be a member of the Sharks swim team, you either need to be a year-round member of Balcones Country Club or a Summer Swim Pass member. |
